Look who came scampering up at my place in the country yesterday (Oct 5th) at around 1:30 pm to hand deliver my Top 10 cd made by those
wonderful lads over in Britian. He was also carrying a shoebox with a stash of Yorkshire tea, biscuits, and some yummy chocolates under his arm. I'm told that his name is Monkey Nut ("Nut" for short).
I couldn't turn him away so he's staying to experience a little of our redneck culture.
He's already waded through dew and dust this morning to have a closer look at the cotton field. He informed me that it looked like too much manual labor to him out in that field!

Well if he ever loses any of his stuffing, there's plenty of cotton around to fill him up again!
We're sure he'll enjoy that southern hospitality!
LOL!! He looks right comfy down South. Maybe he'll take up residence. Possibly dual-citizenshp?
Mr. Monkey did travel!! So P&T were correct,he was tired of dreary England and hopped over to the good ol' US of A.
As Mr. Nut has come all the way over, crossing a pond and everything, perhaps he should do a tour of America, he can stay at various bloggers homes, snap some pic's, see the land.
What do you think?
Cute monkey! Enjoy the tea and biscuits!
I think that's a great idea virginia gal, as long as he comes back here to retire after his adventures. What do you think Taz and Piggy?
Fantastic idea!
A week with a blogger before travelling to another blogger. Each blogger who recieves him has to take a pic with him (waving) and report back.
Then send him on his travels to another blogger with the same conditions (and always with a note containing his return destination-you!)
This could be really funny - Tazzy & Piggy want to swap places with monkey.
I had no idea that cotton was so beautiful! What a great gift! I bet you are STILL smiling.
awww he is a cutie - enjoy the tea and remember it is lovely to have hot tea with milk and biscuits, put the kettle on and I may join you :D
