Hump Day

If I make it past noon half of my week will be over. It's been a lazy one for sure cause I don't think I've had the energy to hit a lick at a snake and normally those slithery creatures can make me move mountains to get out of their way.

I had a call from Soony yesterday. I've been waiting for her to announce the news to her co-workers before making the announcement here and she did that last week so here it is:

She and Eric are having a baby in March!!

Although I won't be a grandma again genetically, I'll surely be one in my heart cause I love this child as though she were one of my own.

Congratulations Soony and Eric!!

Jerri took this photo of the dust storm these two pumkins kicked up on Sunday. I think it's wayyyy cool.

Zach will be getting out of school early today because we get the allotted 10 minute parent/teacher conference to pick up the first 9 weeks report card today. I made an appointment for another conference with Zach's teacher tomorrow because I don't think 10 minutes is going to be nearly long enough!

Well, congratulations to Soony and Eric! And to you, too, Kinda Grandma!

The weather here has been pretty nice, but I don't think I'd chance wearing only my underpants to enjoy it. ;)

Oh, that is so great - I'm happy for all. New babies, new people to love.

Great picture of the "dust storm" - those two really know how to have fun. :)

Hi, found your blog link on another blog and was checking yours out...I love Arkansas! Visited there a couple years ago and fell in love with the people. So different from back east where I'm from. Anyway, love your blog and I'll be back. ;o)

Congrats, Soony and Eric!

Those two dustbunnies look like they're having a blast. I used to love to play in the dust. Good luck on that Teacher's Conference.

Great shot. It looks like a little dirty laundry came out of that moment of fun.

And congratulations on the new baby.

I married a man with 4 children, and I love their children as if they were my own. It's easy to fall in love with a little child

Cool shot of the kids, Brenda.

10 minutes? That's barely time to say hello! And you're right, that's a great picture of a man-made dust storm!

I bet your bathtub had a muddy ring around it after the dust storm! My kids played in the sand yesterday and then my bathtub felt like I was on the beach!

Congrats on the new little one to be!

That IS a great photo, Brenda. Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm just a bit frustrated right now; winter is well on its way and we have no floors or walls. BUT, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for progress today. Take care, Brenda, and thanks again. =)

That is a neat photo. Congrats to the new mother to be.

BTW you don't lick snakes, just play with them with long sticks.
