Zach - the amazing sunflower grower!They are beautiful. We have planted sunflowers in the very back of our veggie garden , and our birds have planted sunflowers under one of the bird feeders as they do every year. But we only have a few actual flowers yet. Maybe a couple more weeks.Enjoy!

Did you know I grew up in the Sunflower Capitol of Canada? I did.It was beautiful to see miles and miles of sunflowers growing in the fields.Good for Zach, now we have something in common.

I so love sunflowers as well...tell Zach he grows amazing ones!! You can never help smiling when you see those happy faces:-) I have quite a few growing in the veggie garden and amongst my flowers, thanks to Chippie who hides them in the ground and then they end up growing! lol None have bloomed yet but it shouldn't be long now. xoxo

They are smiling ones indeed - good photos! I grew a few last year for the first time - I think they must have been a miniature variety :) at least that is how they turned out. ec
i am so happy you have these posted! i love sunflowers too. it is the first year i have not planted them in 22 years. i had about 7 come up volunter. but was sad that the garden didn't get planted. it was too rainy to get it in this year. thank you for the comment you left.. love nita
