A Nice Nanaw Break

I've had this niggling headache all day, went back to bed this morning for an hour or so, then slept for 2 1/2 hours this afternoon. I woke up just before the school bus came rumbling into the drive to discharge Zach, MeriKate, Krysten, and Abby. I helped the two youngest with homework, Zach and Krysten are having those yearly tests this week so they didn't have any.

I guess my men folk decided they needed to give me a little break from the same ole routine cause they cooked a fine supper of fried catfish, fries, and hushpuppies. Zach also laid a very nice table, all I had to do was throw together a salad. James even pre-loaded the dishwasher with the stuff he used while cooking so it only took a minute for me to put our plates in and start the load.

I haven't even had to argue and wrestle with Zach to get him to take a bath and brush his teeth!

What a wonderful evening I've had so far!

Wow, what did they do for you to get all that? It has to make you suspicious... LOL
Maybe they've realized you deserve every bit of that special treatment, Miz Brenda!

That sounded like a good evening to me also. A break from the routine is most often good - unless the break is bones while getting run over by a truck. :) ec

Good for you and for your family for picking up the slack so you could get a little reprieve.
