Possums sleep in the middle of the road with their feet in the air.
If it grows, it sticks; if it crawls, it bites.
Onced and Twiced are words.
'Fixinto' is one word.
Backards and forwards means 'I know everything about you.'
You measure distance in minutes.
You sometimes have to switch from 'heat' to 'A/C' in the same day.
You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked.
100 degrees Fahrenheit 'a little warm.'
We have four seasons: Almost Summer, summer, still summer and Christmas.

Ha! I measure distance in minutes as well. "How far away is it?" "Um, about 15 minutes." Hee
I've always measured distance in minutes. But then, I lived in Charleston, SC and Temple Texas.
I love your seasons.
Cas
enjoy your day!
HAHAHA
Hey, I must have lived in Arkansas in a former life; I can relate to most of those sayings. And, yeah, heat and air in the same day; it's that way here lately also. :)
That about sums it up here in Texas as well!!LOL...Happy day sweetie!hughugs
God bless girl! This sounds like TEXAS too!!! Hope your having a good one;)
Those are true in SC as well, especially about the sleeping place of the possum. :) ec
I can only relate to some of those here in Upstate NY!! And I don't think I could handle the heat there as once July arrives, I spend alot of time inside in my A/C - the humidity here kills me - I can only imagine what the humidity is in Arkansas!! I was in New Orleans and Biloxi in April and thought I would just die!! Have a good day, Brenda!!
