There's a Conspiracy Going On

Is there a new law that I missed that says you aren't supposed to take a nap? I tried a little before noon the first time yesterday and my daughter Jami came over. After she left, I felt the need to snooze come on again and the frozen food man showed up. I'd just snuggled in again and was dozing off and my MIL came a'knocking at the door.
I'm going back to bed now so if it's against the law, just send someone to arrest me. I betcha I could get a few naps in a cell!

OOoooo, I so HATE when the universe conspires to keep me from napping. One Monday afternoon when I was off, I tried to catch a few ZZZs, but the phone would.not.stop.ringing.

Suffice it to say I feel a bit sorry now for the person who placed the last call.

I think getting a nap in a cell would be like trying to sleep in a hospital. Hope you got some extra zzzzz's this morning! Have a good weekend. :)

Lol don't you just hate that...I don't know how often I've tried to take naps in the afternoon and that's when the phone rings or someone knocks at the door. It's Murphy's Law I tell ya!! Have a wonderful weekend my friend, I'm off to the Sugar Bush:-) xox

As a law enforcement officer I can say that naps are legal nationwide. And there is no limit on the nap's length. However, you can shoot anyone who interrupts your nap. That varies from state to state. Check your local statutes.

Hehe. I lock my front door, turn on the fan and turn off the phone. If anyone tries to reach me, well tough doody. If it's important, they've got hubby's number for backup. LOL
