Smothering in the Delta

I can tell by the dust and the 95 degree temps that summer has definitely arrived here. We've been to Storm Creek Lake a couple of times over the past few days to let the kids splash and play in the swimming area there but with only 2 lonely little trees at that area of the lake, I've gotten a bit crispy fried.

Trish sent me some photos of Jaylen and Jordan last week too!

Aw, so cute as always! Crispy critter, eh? It's been hotter than hades here also. Finally, though, cooling off today with much needed rain. The wildfires were taking over.

I always love your pictures, Ms. Brenda; your subjects are so precious.

I guess that means it's officially summer. It's a bit cool here, but I'm pretty sure it's temporary.

Surprisingly we have had some really cool temps in these parts. I'm not sure how long it's going to last though.
