A tad breezy today
We're having typical autumnal weather for Arkansas today. We had thunderstorms and even a tornado warning for a short time this afternoon and the temps went from 79 with 40mph winds to 52 with 40mph winds in the space of a few minutes after the front blew through. Bubbie stood at the door and watched for the tornado but he didn't see it so it must have touched down somewhere else in the county. Luckily we're blessed with a goodly portion of farmland here so a tornado has plenty of room to ramble without doing a whole lot of damage to life and limb. The weather man even mentioned that we might get down to freezing one night this week!

It was freezing here about two hours ago. The high Thursday is supposed to be 20, the low of 9. I gotta dig out the long underwear!!!
It was already below freezing here yesterday, as my poor pink ears will attest. On the upside, I get to wear my snazzy tuque!
And I never knew pig's feet came in snak-paks. God.
Everytime I heard about those tornado warnings I thought of you.
Those pictures are so good. The sky looks dark and brooding, the land looks forlorn, and anxious. As if it's waiting for that first drop of rain to signal the imminent arrival of the storm.
Kind of reminds me of how I feel somedays.
What great pictures...be careful, it looks like you live in prime toronado area.
THere is something about clouds like that which I enjoy watching. I don't like the associated storms the midwest is fighting right now.
Good pics.
Well, your skies looked exactly like our skies yesterday. They're nice and blue today. Right chilly, though.
Oooh that's an ominous-looking sky. My parents are down around Tornado Alley right now and I guess there's some pretty big activity going on there too.
Those photos are awesome looking! :)

Those are great pictures! I will be heading up to Arkansas over Thanksgiving holiday to visit family and I am so looking forward to it. They tell me it is a bit cooler there than it is here! Great!
That sky looks mighty scary. I hope you have a basement in your house.
Yep, tis that time of the year! 28* tonight!
EWWWWW!! Stay safe you hear?
great pictures, wow that sky looks awesome. I'm glad the tornedo didn't pass your area
