Brenda Photo Challenge: Christmas Decorations

I haven't been in much of a decorating mood this year but I did put out some of our favorites. The photos were quickies too cause of all of this computer drama I've been up to my ears in this week, but anyway, here ya go, Christmas Decorations Challenge Photos!

I love this little snowman figurine. He just looks so happy.

This angel ornament belonged to my mother. I don't have many of her things so I cherish this.

Here's my old floppy Santa sittin around on my shelf and two of the angel bells that I have sitting around here and there.

This snowman comes out every year and sits on the mantel or on a shelf. Zach made him out of a 2 litre drink bottle, torn paper, glue, ribbons, felt, and construction paper, when he was in the first grade. He's held up well hasn't he?

Miz Kim over at Caffeine is Life is our hostess for this challenge and she chose Christmas Decorations to give us more practice with our cameras. Thank you Miz Kim!

Y'all be sure to go over to the comments at the Challenge blog to see what all the participants came up with this time.

Everyone is welcome to join us, just look for the next challenge at the Photo Challenge Blog and sign into the comments that you're accepting the challenge. The directions for doing this are on the blog. The more the merrier so start snappin!

Very nice Christmas decorations and they bring back lots of sweet memories :)
Have a nice weekend!
My husband just came home from shopping (we live in the centre of Vienna) and said that there are so many tourists here, many day-tourists from Hungary who came by bus, and others who stay for the weekend. Besides, I think, the Viennese are very playful :) which explains the abundant decorations...

Wonderful post. You're lucky to have that angel from your Mom. I really like Zach's snowman. It's amazing how things hold up.

So Sweet!! I have a Christmas Egg, made out of an old leggs egg 35 years ago. ANd a pair of ice skates made out of paperclips and felt, and a smuckers jelly lid with a picture of Santa glued in the top. I used to have snowmen made out of marshmallows, but alas they "died".

Hi Brenda,

I love the angel and the way you took her photo. What a nice memory of your mom. And I love the snowman too. I think the sentimental things of Christmas are the best. Good challenge.

This is a wonderful challenge and I would love to participate if my ornaments were even out of the box yet. Darn it. I'll go visit and see how long this lasts.

Snowman....priceless! Well they all are, of course. Great job!

Hey, darlin'!

I love the angel, and like Joan, I also love the angle from which you took the picture: so pretty and radiant!

I finally got the Christmas deccies up at Casa K, which took some doing for a couple of reasons:

1. The place first needed on helluva scrubbing down before I could even think of putting anything up, and

2. Fairy lights are pure evil.

Tomorrow? We bake shortbread. I may have to make a couple of sample batches.

What lovely ornaments and cherished memories. They look like very special pieces.

I know that I am VERY late with my entry but it's up now. Just got snowed-under with parties and work. I hope Santa still comes :-)
