Summer Views

I had great plans this morning to wake early and go out on my back deck to see if the little hummingbirds would be visiting the morning glories but I slept too late so I missed that opportunity. They did visit late in the afternoon yesterday and I snapped several shots of them, but only one turned out half way decent.

I also snapped this happy photo when Zach and I made a bread and milk run. It reminds me of a crowd of happy faces.

I think hummingbirds are the most interesting of all the birds. The energy they use to fly and eat. Amazing.. Beautiful shots. Love the sunflowers too :-).

I haven't seen a hummingbird in a dogs age. Maybe it's because I have plastic flowers...you think?
J/K I only have one plastic flower, OK..maybe two.

Your pictures turned out wonderful.

Hi Brenda

Just came over from Tammy's site.

You're getting spam because you haven't enabled word verification. It's that yucky code you have to use on most blogs.

It's a pain in the neck but it stops almost all of the spam.

Me again. Just looked at your profile.

I'm in CA now but I lived in Jonesboro for 8 years. Left in 1978.

Great pictures, Brenda. I envy you the hummingbird. We rarely have anything more exotic than sparrows in our garden!
