"Looking Upward" Photo Challenge

Our Hostess, Miz Joan, chose "Looking Upward" for our photo challenge this time round. I didn't get out much this past week, I'm a WIMP when it's cold, but when we were coming home from Little Rock on Tuesday we passed a field full of snow geese when we neared home so I took a couple of shots as they were flying in to land.

When I saw the topic my first thought for challenge photos was BIRDS. I love birds and I take a lot of photos of the regulars that live and nest in the trees in my yard. Other than the snow geese, all of the rest of my photos were taken last April of my Bird Crew. The Mocking birds are so used to me that they let me get fairly close (except for their nests,,,then they try to flog me to death if I get too close).

Anyway, I won't rattle on, but I hope you like my bird buds.

These are ALL wonderful pictures...the little mourning doves just look so cozy and I can't believe how close up you got to some of these! Great job! I love it when the canadian geese fly overhead and make all that noise, but they are so comical to watch land...they look like me when I'm running on only a couple hour's of sleep.

I love your bird friends. These are perfect for the theme. You have some excellent pictures. Some of them took my breath away. I think my favorite is the 3rd from the last. I love how the bird is looking upward and the bush limbs are looking upward too. Great job!

LOVE your bird buds! Terrific pictures....what I wouldn't give for some sunshine....it's been really dreary and unbelievably cold here. It was minus four with wind chills in the minus twenty range!

Hi Brenda,

I love your bird photos. I especially love the fourth one but they are all great. I need to start taking some bird pictures. I look for them today but it seems the birds don't like this snow like me. LOL Great photos!
