Banking Today, Zooing Tomorrow

I'm sitting here sipping a cup of coffee, trying to wake up enough to go do the monthly banking. We also need some food so I've made out, and lost, a grocery list already. I'll need to go to WalMart today too because I need some cleaning supplies and those are priced too high in the grocery stores. We just don't have many shopping options around here.

Tomorrow we're going to the Memphis Zoo with Bubbie and Jerri and the chicklets. Krysten is out of town with some friends of Jami's so we'll only be herding Alexis, Jillian, Abby, MeriKate, and Zach. It should be a great photo op day.

James planted some potatoes in the garden this year because I was raising so much hell about the price of potatoes. He dug up two plants to see if they were ready for harvest but they need a little more time to grow bigger. After seeing these, I reckon there will be enough potatoes in that garden to supply the neighborhood with spuds cause there are a BUNCH of plants!

Enjoy your day at the zoo!

Those pototatoes don't look all that small, either! It must not take very long for potatoes to grow.

Those potatoes would be so good fried in bacon grease or boiled with a mess of green beans. Makes me hungry looking at them. Hope you had fun at the zoo, I love to go.
