It's Tuesday, already?

I had one of the nicest surprises in my mail yesterday. One of the gals I went to elementary school with that I saw at the Moro Homecoming back in October sent me a copy of our 4th grade class picture. Both James and Zach were able to pick me out of the crowd in about 2 seconds and Zach was really amazed that Nanaw used to be a little girl the same age as he is now.

I've been hearing what I thought was Zach's television and went in there just now to turn it off and it wasn't on. I finally decided the noise was coming from outdoors and after looking out, rushed back in for my camera,,,

We're being swarmed by blackbirds! There are thousands of them in the field across the road.

Didn't Alfred Hitchcock make a movie about those birds? spooky!!

I love to see pictures of people when they were little kids. Seeing how they grew up and changed is something isn't it?

Well, aren't you a cutie pie!

Those blackbirds are a pain. Is that a corn field behind you?

Holy crap that's a lot of bird! Man I hope they don't leave behind a mess. ;)

Sweet pictures! I love seeing stuff like that. :)

Just as I suspected, you were always a beauty!
Wow, that bird thing is scary. Kind of does remind me of The Birds (shivers).

I just love old photos like those. I now have tons of them since I got about half of mom's old photos. Many I have scanned and saved to disks.

You must have been popular, looking at you, you were one of those pretty girls who always had friends around them, no? :)
Where did you go to school, in the South? I can't place the location from the picture.

It's funny to watch kids realize that even Nanaws were kids too. :) What a nice surprise for you to get the picture.

That bird shot is amazing, Brenda. I wouldn't wanna be heading out there with a tray of birdseed ;)

That's certainly something better seen from inside than standing outside! Old pictures are great fun. You can see it's you!

of course, i think about things like that. i am unarguably odd.

Just like the blonde in the movie "The Birds." Your old pictures are great to look at ... mine are just plain wierd. It is fun for the grandkids to look at them and realize you were young once. In your head you still feel young and they think we are soooo old. We could tell them things...
