I don't want to

Since I didn't go yesterday to pay the bills for the improvement district, I must go today to get that little chore over with.

And do their banking. Then I must drive into town to replenish my hummingbird food. There are 6 of those little beggars around the feeders, dive bombing each other for their turn to sip up some nourishment before they fly south for the winter. I've even used up all my sugar making sugar water to try to fill them up.We're also out of milk, and bread, and tea, and I need to buy some more bird food for Odie.
I don't want to get dressed, I don't want to go to town, I don't want to leave my house. I feel like this more and more lately.

What makes it worse is , after Zach gets home from school, works on his homework for an hour or so, I'll have to leave again to drive to town to take him to tae kwon do class. I don't want to do that either.

Odie seems to be more amiable to the camera!

I wish I had an answer for you. I never want to go anywhere, either. I never shop... NEVER. So annoying. But I do take Chic to gymnastics. I'll think of you while I'm there in the hot, very NON-air-conditioned gym, and know that you share my misery on that one.

Go! Go! Go! I would go with you but here I sit.
Enjoy your busyness.
Have you cooked anything good lately? I remember my Gramma cooking things like boiled ham with cornmeal dumplings ( these Northerners think that sounds gross), fried chicken with the preachers every Sunday (sometimes soldiers ), cobblers, buttermilk biscuits and tomato gravy, chicken and rolled dumplings, and here I am and don't know how to cook anything she made.
I miss her cooking!!!

I've been like that for the last two years. I'll put off going to the grocery store until there is nothing here to eat, unless Pete is headed home. As long as I have cat food and Diet Coke I can make it.lol

The older I get the more I want to stay home. When I was young I found reasons to go to town!!

Had to comment about the pageant, I am not a big fan but you have on your hands a VERY beautiful girl...y'all should consider getting her into that, she could earn her entire college fund through these pageants.

I know this "I don't want to do that" feeling - I had it all day long too when I had to go to the HS to hang posters - the Big Lots to get cat food and snack foods - the orthodontist and then guitar lessons this evening - didn't want to do any of it.

Have a good day tomorrow - I plan to not go anywhere!

Odie is really pretty!

Life is full of "have to's"!

Once I get moving in the direction of my "I don't wanna" then I'm usually okay.

I just have to get through that mind battle.

Have a good one!
