I Actually Had to Work Today

I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I sure hope it's the right one!

Hopefully I can get these cranky tax returns in the mail to the client tomorrow and be all done!

After that there's my home office that needs tackling. I'm thinking about it, KNOW, without a doubt that it needs doing; I might take a couple of naps tomorrow instead. Procrastination is my middle name.I walked around the yard for a few minutes right before the sun started it's final slide below the horizon, and took a couple of pictures. My autumn sunflowers are starting to peek out a bit; in a few days they will be busting out all over with blooms.

The other photo is the heart of one of my red roses. You can click the photos to see a larger view.

Now it's time to herd Zach towards the shower so I'd better get outta here.

I'm still giggling at your previous post...I'm glad I'm not the only one who does stupid things like that! lol Hopefully your day went a lot better today and you were able to get those naps in! I'm feeling a bit better today except that my nose is raw from blowing it so much and now I'm losing my voice. Oh joy! xoxo

I, too, must herd my two boys to the shower. If I don't supervise they somehow never make it. ARGH!

Hey! You and I have the same middle name, how 'bout that!

Beautiful sunflowers...they're starting to fizzle out here.

Tackling your home office.
I hope you have better luck than I have been having. I started about a year ago and don't see much progress!!
Is that tree really in your yard? It is magnificent. Our trees here in Wis are turning north but not here in the central. So, days are sunny and warm yet.
Really nice fall so far.

That tree is a few miles from my house, and the photo was taken last year in November. We've only had a couple of leaves to fall and nothing turning yet this year.

Love the flowers. If I were planning on cleaning off my desk, I'd head outsdie, too.

Always nicer to walk around the yard than to clean! Love the sunflowers.
