Breaking

I feel as though pieces of me are breaking off and the least little thing, the right button pushed the wrong way, might make me fly into a trillion parts. I'm so moody that I either feel like ranting or crying or sometimes both.

I've taken a traxene that I keep on hand for anxiety, maybe it'll smooth out this moodiness.

Menopause is the pits.

Such an awful, agonizing feeling you're going through. I hope that soon you'll be much, much better. Take care of yourself. (HUGS)

I enjoy your blog and feel like we have a lot in common. I'm 52, going through menopause, and am from the South.
I loved your post about your Grandma's kitchen. Mine fixed greens, too, and beans and we had cornbread with buttermilk, still a favorite of mine. She would fix us cherry cobblers and let me lay the strips of dough across the fruit and we both had flour all over us. She also would endure my longing to be a hairstylist by letting me roll and re-roll her hair for hours on end!
I hope you're feeling better. I know what you're going through.

I'm only 49 Brenda, but I really understand how you are feeling as I went through it about nine years ago. And, I am EVAH so glad that I'm DONE. Take care, my friend...just try to take it easy.
