Wednesday This and That

The other morning, as we were getting ready to walk out the door to go to work and to go hunting, (I'll let you guess who was going where), I told James to leave the TVon Discover, or AMT, or some similiar channel for the bird. He gave me this questioning look that said, "WTH"?

When I got the bird, Ya-Ya, a couple and a half years ago, I started leaving the tv on for stimulation and to keep him from getting lonely. James thought that was pretty stupid, but has complied with my wishes. So, this time I had to explain to him the reason for the channel choices.

I don't want Ya-Ya to watch Soap Operas. They're not educational and I'd rather he watch commercials than one of those "who's doing who with what and how" serials. If that squawking, feathery, fiend ever learns to talk, I want him to make a little sense at least.

It's cold down here! Jerri called today to tell me that little Jillian has respiratory and sinus infections. Poor baby doesn't even feel like running her Momma ragged so we know she's sick. Zach and I have bad coughs, he had his first and thinks he has to share that sort of thing with me. We've been chugging down the cough syrup like two old bums with a liquor stash. I was in bed and on my way to dreamland by 8pm last evening, that stuff messes with my head.

Sweet T, for sure, appears to be with pups. From the looks of her the past week or so, it shouldn't be too much longer before she becomes a momma. I sure hope she's gonna be a good one.

Zach is 10 today! Happy Birthday Zach!
