Jerri's step-father died on Saturday morning and she and her family are going to have a hard row to hoe over the next while as they adjust to life without him. Please keep them in your prayers.
My first grandchild was born March 14th...I lost my Dad March 22nd. Life is such a mix of joy and sorrow, isn't it? Thanks so much for coming by and 'visiting' and for permission to use some of your entries. I posted another one about the 12 Lifes Lessons...it's funny but full of common sense, too. I am slowly making my way thru your archives and enjoying the reads very much. One of my childhood best friends is from Bentonville, Arkansas. Her dad was a teacher in my small hometown in Washington State...teachers' wages were much higher here back in the 50s and 60s. He lived here year 'round and Laura Ruth and her Mama would split their time...some years she'd be here for school and 'home' for summer. Other years, vice versa. I hung out with her so much when I was a little girl I'd pick up her accent, lol! I hadn't thought of her in years. Thanks for triggering the trip down Memory Lane.

Done, Ms. Brenda. I'm sorry to hear this.
I'm sorry for Jerri and family.
I will remember them in prayer.
Wow, you get REAL storms! I'm glad you came through unharmed! There were dozens killed in Arkansas, and I was thinking of y'all!
The cycle of life can be so harsh. Yes, you are all in our prayers.
Prayers and best wishes sent to Jerri and family.
My son lost his father-in-law on Saturday evening. And he's having a hard time of it as well.
