Freedom to me has always meant being able to pick a road to wander down,,, or over,,, or around,,, to another place. Every road will lead somewhere, or maybe nowhere, but I feel fortunate to be able to travel down which ever ones I choose.
The freedom topic also put
this song in mind. It's been wandering around in the hollow reaches of my noggin for two weeks now.
Y'all can go on over to the

Love your freedom pictures! They do give a sense of no where to be and all the time needed to get there...as it should be during these hot summer days. Love the song you paired with them too...a classic!

I love me a sun-dappled road in the South in summer. I can hear the cicadas and feel the heat! And that's a great lyric to go with your pictures. Happy Fourth!
Freedom to move about unimpeded...and in beautiful location! Love the words to that song...can just hear JJ singing it!
I've been singing that song, too, with a little Janis Joplin accent (in my mind, of course!)
