So Much for Plans to SLEEP Late

A squawking Ya-Ya and a pup named Daisy, who was enticing Ya-Ya to squawk by appearing at the storm door, while dancing as graceful as a young elephant on the front porch, woke me up a lot earlier than was my intention.

I threatened to BBQ Ya-Ya but it's too cold for me to go out and scold Daisy.

mutter, mutter, ^%$#*@!

Don't you hate it when that happens? lol

New Year is a time for celebration of love, of life, of friendship. It's the time to thank God for wonderful friends, and to bring to their lives as much magic as they bring to ours...so here's celebrating our friendship and praying that its magic continues forever. Happy New Year to you and yours dear Brenda! xoxo

Dang, I hate that!! I think I'd at least open the door and throw the bird out to see how cold it is out there!! hehehehe
By the way, my black eyed peas are doing GREAT!! I already had a small bowl of 'em.
The chicken broth was a great idea!! Next time I'll leave out the salt pork. Ceyenne pepper spices it up good too.
