Tea

Tea Party at House Terborg
I'm sitting here sipping a cup of hot Lipton Pyramid White Tea with Island Mango and Peach. Have any of y'all tried it yet? I'm normally a coffee drinker; I drink it morning, noon, and night, but sometimes I crave a cup or two of hot tea and I especially like some of the flavored teas.

I was already a coffee drinker when I moved to England in the late 60's for 3 years but while I was there I was soon one of the blokes having my hot "cuppa" tea around 4 every afternoon. My favorite tea is made with Earl Grey tea leaves, steeped in a teapot until it's strong and dark, then poured through a strainer into a cup with a dash of milk and a half spoon of sugar. We usually had sandwiches and/or scones and jams with our tea but I also always loved having high tea on special occasions when we would have tiny little watercress or cucumber sandwiches, fancy little cakes, biscuits (cookies), and wonderful cheese spreads.

When I was in Holland 4 years ago we went out to an estate (House Terborg) for a tea party (photo above) one afternoon. It sure did bring back some lovely memories.

You have been to so many places! I am a die hard coffee drinker...morning, noon, and night. Not a tea drinker, unless it's iced or I'm sick...

I lived in Scotland for 2 years a while back, and learned to enjoy a nice cuppa. My favorite tea is English Breakfast.

And I did like the scones that went with that tea.

Enjoy. It seems to be a relaxing thing to do.

Cas
And I always prepare tea properly.

Oh my good, Ms. Brenda, it looks SO pretty in here! What a great Christmas spirit going on.

Your tree is gorgeous! I'm sorry about the closet accident, but thank heaven no one was hurt. I can just see Zach standin' there 'it wasn't me'. hahaha

So glad you had a nice Thanksgiving! ((HUGS))

I visited Holland quite a bit from Germany, but we were camping and there were no tea parties LOL!

It does sound wonderfully comforting and relaxing though. I usually only drink hot tea when I'm sick. Now give me some "sweet tea" and a cucumber sandwich for lunch and I'm good!

Hi Brenda,

I am a big time coffee drinker but I did have high tea when we went to London and had the cucumber sandwiches, you just have to when you visit there. I have a great cucumber sandwich recipe if you ever want it. I make it every Christmas and it flies off the table. Have a great one!

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .
net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.

But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using Movable-type on various websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform.
I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Is there a way
I can import all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

obviously like your website however you need to take a look at the spelling
on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are
rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to tell the truth on the other
hand I'll certainly come again again.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I in
finding this matter to be really one thing which I think I would never understand.
It kind of feels too complex and very large for me.
I'm having a look ahead in your next put up, I'll try to get the
