I needed to get out of the house for a little while on Saturday so Jerri and I took a drive. We left my house and made a short loop around some of the country roads. The photos above were taken on lost road where I've taken photos before. It was cloudy but the leaves still made for some pretty pictures. I love taking pictures of that old house. I don't know who owns it or who lived in it back when, but I love imagining how it was when a family might have lived in it. If you click to enlarge the picture you can see a curtain still at the one window that's not hidden by trees and other growth.

I just love those pictures, Ms. Brenda. That house reminds me so much of the one my grandmother lived in until they finally tore it down. Like you, I always wonder about the story behind it.

Glad you were able to get out, and enjoy yourself for a while. ((HUGS))

Those are some fantastic photos, Brenda.
It is fun to wander around and wonder what went on before. I do that myself.

Beautiful pictures! Glad you got out of the house and dusted those cobwebs out of your head for a while. There's nothing like getting out in the countryside and fresh air to help your outlook and spirit.

Lovely pictures, Brenda. Hope your trip out did you some good. And that this week is definitely a better one than last week was.

I recognize the old shack from another photo. I love the top photo. I would love a nice, long stroll there. I walked tonight in the cold, brisk wind up here... brrrrr. That looks warmer and very pretty.

I can't get over all the leaves you guys still have over there...here our trees are all naked like a newborn baby! lol Beautiful pictures and I really love the one with the old abandoned house. Like you, I always wonder at who lived there and what went on there all those years ago, when I see an old house like that. xoxo
