Winter,,,maybe

That's sorta kinda how winter is for us here in Arkansas. We get a lot of "it could", "it might", "possibly", and "perhaps" in our weather forecasts, especially during the winter months. The forecast today is the "possibility" of from 1 to 3 inches of snow beginning about mid-afternoon, but it could be more or none, or just rain.

We're like a Taint (defination not suitable for young readers). Taint deep south, and sure taint north so we sit right where it can do almost anydamnthing, and it might,,,or might not.

We'll just carry on with business as usual and act surprised if the white stuff gets over our shoes.

Yep down here too but it will be two morning of cold before a major warm up. Oh for those winter days of the past.......

Hence the reason for Nature being referred to as Mother. She can what she pleases, when she pleases and can change her mind on a whim.

Would you believe the Great White North hasn't been white in these parts since, oh, I dunno, maybe November for a day?

Sounds a bit like our weather forcasters. Never commit themselves to anything beyond it might rain or it might not!

We're getting the same kind of forecast today. Either no snow, or up to 8 inches of the stuff.

It looks like we're in for a cold, rainy weekend here in Podunt too. Weatherman says it's going to be the coldest so far this winter. At least two night of below freezing. I don't expect any snow, but I'm sure they'll be rain and probably sleet. Thank God for a good furnace.
Would you believe I haven't seen snow in over 10 years?
Ya'll be careful!!

I'm just glad to not be dealing with ice and sliding around on the roads. So I don't mind when they're wrong!

We've had so little snow this year that even I'm surprised when it finally does fall. After a month without snow, we finally have about an inch on the ground. And that is really very little for Iowa.
