I'm Still Kickin'!

Mostly kicking and screaming but that's just what my cousin calls "lettin' the Willhite out". That side of my family does tend to have temper explosions when they get riled up.

I just need to get a routine going for this month because I have Zach's sisters daily during the week for the summer, Zach has the Gear Up program every afternoon from 2 till 5 at the school (except for Fridays when they have field trips), also on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings he has Tae Kwon Do from 5:30 till 6:30 which is 20 miles away at the college. Abby will also start a 12 day summer program next week from 8:30 till 2, so I'll be picking her up at school as I take Zach.

I might just be meeting myself going if I'm not careful.

At least all that will be over by the end of the month, then maybe we can go fishing a time or two.

I'm having a lot of problems with edema already this summer. The problem exisits all year round but it seems worse during the hot months. My back consistantly gives me fits too so I've been doing a fair bit of bitching, and moaning, and groaning, lately. Add to that the fact that I haven't had a smoke IN 5 DAYS and it's no wonder that James asked me if I needed hormones or something?

Why do men think a hormone pill will fix the aggravations caused by themselves?

So there you have it, the news from around here. It ain't exciting. It ain't pretty. It's just the same ol everything. Hope the week is going good for all y'all!

Is the Gear Up program the one you were waiting to hear about for Zach?

Okay, I'm certainly no expert or anything on skin problems but I do know that lots & lots of Vitamin E helps tons. Also, I've been using Dove Pro Age body wash~and, noticed a difference after ONE use! My dry skin was gone!! I'm not kidding!! At Wally World it's about $5.00/I noticed at Walgreens it was TEN!! I'm going to stock up on it because I haven't found it at all the wally's. Okay, that's all I know!! (((hugs)))

Hang in there!!

Start taking it a little easier. Edema is usually worse in summer, with the swelling and all in warm weather. Take care you!

Can the doctor give you something for the Edema? I know I have a little of that in the summer, but my blood pressure pill has something extra to help with that. You should be able to get some type of prescription through WalMart for about $4.
Oh, man, your schedule sounds crazy. Sitting in a car is not going to help you either.

I just don't know how you can do it all...and still stay sane. Oh...you aren't????? hehe!! Geez, Brenda, I don't envy you your schedule at all and with trying to quit smoking at the same time, one can forgive you for being a tad on the bitchy side! lol xoxo

You are one busy lady...are you trying to quit smoking? I hope you do and watch that edema, try to lower your sodium intake and see if that helps ~

Holy Cow Brenda! You are tryin' to kick smoking in the midst of all of that chaos??? It's tough. REALLY tough. Five Days is a very long time. Good for you! I think perhaps that might be aggravating your condition as well....stress...ya know??? And yeah, I agree...give James the hormones. What IS the matter with men anyways??
