Before It's Time

James's cousin decided he was done with living some time Wednesday night, or early Thursday morning, and took his life. He left behind a wife and 3 beautiful daughters, one of which was with her mother when they found him. I don't understand how he could do this. Did he even think about what he'd be doing to his children as he was making this decision? His mother? His extensive family?

I couldn't sleep last night thinking of how terrible his pain must have been to never want to see another sunrise.

I feel for the family greatly, my nephew's life ended by his own hand as well, leaving a wife and three children with many heartaches and questions. ec

oh my goodness, this is so sad. I'm so sorry for you and the family (my prayers and thoughts with them).

Being a sufferer of depression myself I can honestly say when you're in the throes of severe depression you don't think of anyone else, or you think going away will help them. It is just sad for everyone all around.

My heart goes out to the family. I have an uncle, who was also my godfather, who committed suicide and I've never forgiven him for it. My dad had died of cancer 8 months earlier at the age of 48...he wanted to live so badly. Then there's my uncle who could have lived for many years and yet he took his own life. I'll never understand any of it. xox

It's hard to say what was going on in his head, but he must have had a lot of pain in his heart. My prayers are with his family. I hope they can come to some closure on this and some peace.
