I wasn't going to do this challenge because things have been up and down here but Miz Donna Staas reminded me and I decided to go through old photos I've done in the past to see if any were worthy. I hope to some day have just a smidgen of the talent that
our hostess, Miz Donna from TN has. Not sure of these but here they are:
Here is our Beans when she was a baby. She was pretending to be asleep while partially sitting beneath our oak tree. The leaves were barely moving but there were a few shadows about when she was out of the sun.
Some of my favorite shadows and shades are on the lost road where I have taken many photos over the years.
Shadows across Zach's face as we sit in the truck waiting for tae kwon do to start.

Thank you for joining up this time, Miz Brenda! I know that you have a lot on your plate right now. All the more reason for you to have a fun diversion, right? Thank you, also, for your sweet compliments.
Little Beans sure does look adorable in that sleepy-time in the sun pose! I like how her face is softly lit in the shadows, yet receiving some reflection from her little playsuit. And that zig-zaggy country road is perfect for capturing shadow play by the tall trees. And Zack's handsome eye has a beautiful catchlight. Nice composition on that one. What a terrific variety! Of course, the photo of Beans wins my heart the most because of the cuteness factor!
I like your 3 choices Brenda. The road one is really pretty and the ones of the children are pretty neat as well as cute. Have a blessed Sunday.
These are WONDERFUL MsBrenda! xoxo

I love the shadows on the road. I was born and raised in Arkansas so it looks like a familiar sight! LOVE the dramatic photo of the shadow on Zack's eye...amazing! I'm glad you took part! Love your photos!
It is fun to see everyone's shadows they found - very nice!
Great photos! I just joined the photo challenge and am enjoying seeing what others have done. That's a beautiful brown eye!
Wow Brenda, how cute are those kids - you really captured great shots in both pics!
The shadowy lane makes me want to explore - but I'll wait 'til the weather warms up!
Glad you joined the challenge and thanks for stopping by.

((((HUG))))
Beautiful, creative shots. Bean is adorable in the chair with the soft summer shadows there. The road is an inviting place with alternating light and shadow. The photo of Zach's eye is so sharp and clear - really stunning.
Wonderful choices, children always make an excellent subject. Although I'm not sure she is pretending to-be sleeping, looks like she has fallen asleep and under a tree would be where I'd choose with a small breeze. Cindy
Really beautiful!
