Cypress Tree balls. Kind of look alien don't they?
Circular Sunflower center.

I LOVE image of the cypress tree balls! I've never seen them before and they are quite odd looking. Fantastic photo with great depth of field. You nailed it!
the cypress balls look like what we call 'brain fruit'.. not sure if that's the real name-- i highly doubt it- but that's all i ever hear it called. looks kinda like that, but if ya cut it open-- it looks just like a brain. i don't think they are edible though. i never tried to find out. i've seen them here- and in kansas. not sure about anywhere else.
anyhow-- love the shots-- the balloon is great-- you and i are so like minded it scares me :))

Are those tree balls for real? They do look alien. The sunflower is such a happy flower and love the lost balloon shot. Great uptake.

Wow. Can't say that I've EVER seen cypress tree balls. That's a first. Very interesting texture on those. I love, love, love sunflowers. And what are the chances that a balloon floats by? LOL. They all made me smile. Thanks.

Wow those cypress balls do look cool! Do they have anything in them? We had a black walnut tree at our old house and the shell was pretty wierd looking on those. Good going Miz Brenda! Hope your weather has cleared!
Those cypress balls are very unique! I thought the balloon was a green ping pong ball! Ha! I sure hope you are safe .... with all of the storms going on! Stay safe!
