I didn't realize my friend had also chosen today for her
Black and White Photography Challenge until after I'd also chosen that day to do one but I still wanted to do both so figured out this way to do it. Hopefully it will be ok. Be sure to click on her link to enjoy her awesome talent with a camera as well as all of the others who are participating. Thank you
Miz Donna for allowing me to join your challenge too.

Love the first one most especially...those flowers are standing out so well.
I saw this yesterday nand thought you had changed the theme and I missed it.LOLNice shotz
The first one is my favorite. I love the detail in the stems. Very nice!
Have a great day!

The birds sure look good in B & W! I love Arkansas...born and raised there! Hugs!
I'm thrilled to have you participate, Miz Brenda! These are all beautiful examples of B&W. In the first one, we get to concentrate on the shape and texture of the flowers instead of being distracted by the colors. And the bird silhouette is darling. I can just hear that cheep, cheep, cheeping! And the sepia tone in the last one really emphasizes the texture. Lovely!
I like all of your photos. I've never played with any of my flowers to change them to B&W but I think the results could be fun.
Great choices for the photo challenge. The first one is really beautiful. Pamela
Loving the wildness of the bird shot.
Your b & w photos are all fabulous! My favourite is the "bird chatter", we have bare bushes at the back of our house that looks just like that almost every day and they chatter so loudly that I can hear them inside the house which is quite a ways from the bushes. Thanks so much for visiting me so that I could find you! I will try to join you next week!
Hugs, Cindy
Love the flowers Brenda.
Well done.
Thank you for visiting my tree in black and white!
I hear your pain at losing your husband in an earlier post, and feel it, as I have experienced the same.
It is not very long since he passed away, and I want to reassure you that time will heal the wounds a little...such that it isn't quite such a raw emotion, and after quite a few years, well, I shouldn't say all will be perfect, but much easier to cope with!
I saw in church the other day for the service for Women's Day, a banner that proclaimed something like,
"All will be well,
and all will be well,
All Manner of things will be well".
Wonderful shots. That tree sure is loaded with birds
Thank you for your kind words Annie. I've been having a really hard time.
Love your shots especially the sunflowers! You have a wonderful blog!
I'd never ever think of making flowers B & W but one does see detail more looking at them in B & W.
Love the birds hanging out photo - they look all tucked up for the night. Hope they had full tummies.
Love Leanne
Very nice, all three.
