83 More Days Till Spring

Winter has never been my favorite season; I don't like being cold; I don't like wearing heavy coats; I don't like the bareness of the outdoors; but this year will be the toughest.  James was at home, a LOT, with me in the Winter months and I'm missing that time with him, even though I fussed a lot when he'd hog the remote, or snored in his recliner, etc,,,those little things that I'd give anything to have him here to do again.

For over two weeks I cried about everything, anything, and nothing.  I finally gave in and went to see the doc and he gave me  antidepressants to try.   For 3 nights over the last almost 4 months, I've slept past my usual hour, or two, or none, I actually slept for over 6 hours for two of those nights.  I know it will get easier because it has to and I know Zach needs for it to.

I decided to let Zach have a puppy that can be in the house with us and right now we're going to be very busy house breaking the little rascal.  Jillian and Alexis named him Cat and I thought it was a cute and original name so we decided that Cat he is.  I will be glad when he gets out of this whiny stage though, he's a onary little whiny baby.

Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know that I'm still here and don't plan on going anywhere.  And I'm planning on starting back with the photo challenge after Jan. 1st so dust off your cameras!

I have a feeling that Cat is going to be a force to reckon with, but will bring much pleasure (eventually) especially to that sweet, sweet Zach.

Love you both, Ms Brenda.

(((hugs)))

So glad you're back!! We missed you!! BTW, easiest way to house break is by using a crate. Make him sleep in the crate, soon as you get up take him outside.
Missed you, glad you went to the Dr.

I don't mind cold weather except for ice, snow, and dry skin that cracks LOL! It's fun to feed the birds though, and get some indoor projects done for a change.

I'm glad that you got some medicine from the doctor. That was the right thing to do! You have to get your rest!

Oh, and a puppy will be good photo material for you, huh? Maybe you can have Cat as a little bloggy mascot, like my (imaginary, but real in my head) Marty, the rabbit. I'm glad that you are going to start up the photo challenges again. I think my blog followers have missed my usual participation. I'm still working, but will try to jump in when I can!

I was just thinking about counting down the days till spring! So glad you are getting a little more sleep and I'm ready to start the photo challenge again when you are ready.
I would reward Trixie with a Snap, if she went outside and pottied before bedtime. Bribery worked! Of course a few cold nights we walked around the yard a long time. I hope Cat becomes a great companion for yall.

YAY for sleep !! :) You need it really bad !! *HUGS* Love the header, too.

I am not going to tell you to hang in there or anything like that. I have lost my Dad suddenly and it is so hard. Glad to see you dusting off the camera !! :)

Not a cold weather fan either.

Your header & blog look AMAZING!

Time, sleep and a puppy named Cat should help and when it doesn't, cry some more. We love you and are not going anywhere...well hopefully.

I've got my son's camera so I may get into your challenges now and learn a few things!!

Love and hugs!!
