They're talking about an ice storm around here. My house is all electric, ice storms are not good.
UPDATE on Computer woes
My cousin who lives in NC and is the service manager for a Computer services company has replied to the desperation email that I sent on Saturday. He said to pack up the drives and send them to him and he'd do the recovery.
Because of my Mrs. Murphy status of late, I'm going to wait until after Christmas to do this; all I need is for my hard drive to be lost by the US postal service.
Man I love my family.

ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to have a computer geek in the family! My son-in-law spent two days recovering my hard drive years ago. I was soooo grateful.

ReplyDeleteThe weather certainly has been wild today, I'm having a hard time staying on the computer because the power keeps going off! Grrrr! We had rain all night, then freezing rain and now snow...with winds that are plain scary!!! Hope you stay safe.

Ice storms are 100 times worse then snow storms. Hate them. I hope it passes you by. We are suppose to get snow, I hope it passes us by. LOL Can you tell I am not a fan of winter weather? I hope you get that computer fixed soon Brenda!

ReplyDeleteWe had severe ice storm here last week that left some people without power for days. Some have just got their power back and another storm is coming through tonight.
