I want to apologize for not getting around to visit blog friends as often as I'd like to but the combination of old "Arthur", who's been giving me hell when I sit for very long, and this blasted dial-up, that on a GOOD day gives me a 28.8 kbps connection, my visiting time is sometimes limited. Please don't give up on me, I'm 'a tryin!
You tell ole' arthur to go away.

I know what you mean about Arthur - he's been a'visiting here also in the knees; first time for that!
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I'm on copper.net, and on dial up. It's wonderful - don't have to wait more than 15-20 seconds, 56K, and it's only 14.95/month. Love it!!
I did dial-up for 6-8 months a few years ago thinking it would save me some money (it totally didn't) and it drove me mental. I know you don't have the option of switching to DSL or cable, which totally sucks. If I had to deal with this slow computer AND dial-up, I don't think I'd be on the innanet at all, let alone blogstroll.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, toots. And tell Arthur to fuck off.
Miz Sally, if I lived in town I'd be able to get the full extent of my 56k modem but living out in the country like I do, nope, nada, the phone lines were put down when Barney the dinosaur was a pup.
ReplyDeleteWe're not going anywhere so whenever you have time to visit us, we'll be there:-) I understand your frustration with dial up...I had it for 7 years and have now had cable for 4...could never go back to dial up!! lol
ReplyDeleteI can't keep up with your template changes! Hey, Brenda, we are all BUSY! Don't feel bad!
ReplyDeleteGoodess, I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteps - you are awesome nanaw, sitting on the couch all day indeed, hee hee.
I thought I was the only one still on CRAP dial-up!! Seems like they should be able to get DSL to everyone now. THey talk to machines way out of our solar system!!!
