What a nice day.

I awoke this morning around 9ish to the pitter-patter of rain pelting the roof. We've been dryer than a pop-corn fart so that was a beautiful sound and the fact that it felt many degrees cooler than it's been these past few weeks was another good beginning to the day.

Later in the morning the Chick came prancing in all dressed up as a pink princess followed by her Mommy, Daddy, and baby sister, Jillian. We had a late lunch, early dinner of fried catfish and crappie, with fries, hush puppies, a salad, and some sliced tomatoes and onions.

I'm still burping.

I took this photo of Zach and Willie late yesterday afternoon while they were resting after a game of fetch.

Brenda,

There is nothing better than fried cat fish ... I don't know what a crappie is...but if ya fry it...it's all mine. We have little guys out here we call croppies..could be the same thing.

Best on all ..when my mom fried the catfish I liked the tail...nice and crispy...my brothter and I used to fight who was going to get it.

It was really great talking to you last night on Yahoo Messenger..I hope we can do that again soon. Sorry the pizza guy butt in to our conversation. BTW...it was gooood

Maybe we can talk tomorrow if you are around.

We have two hunting dogs that live in a kennel with fine dog houses. They are allowed out to exercise and play when someone can be outdoors with them. Willie is a Britney Spaniel and is about 15 months old. We also have Tee who is a female German Short Hair Pointer. She's just over 3 yrs old I think.

Pass the tartar sauce please! Yes, I LOVE it when you post pictures of those precious "little people". We've got rain on & off for several days. Katrina will be affecting lots of the world today as you know.
